The Last Ten Days

I got to fall asleep to the sounds of an amazing thunderstorm, walk through a forest to a pretty waterfall, swim across a beautiful lake, watch fireflies every night, and see the cities of Asheville and Brevard. All while spending time with family from Massachusetts who met up with us there.

We had a wonderful time in North Carolina! The Asheville/Brevard area (western NC) is definitely somewhere I would love to live if we had family and friends living there. The climate there is humid subtropical. Warm, humid summers with rain and thunderstorms; lush, green plants everywhere; four distinct seasons; fairly mild winters with just a little bit of snow. In other words, perfect! At least in my opinion.
