Speaking of Reading...

M is reading!  There's no doubt about it.  She can read pretty much any CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant ex. 'hat') word that she sees.  She can read most CCVC and CVCC words.  She knows that an 'e' at the end of a word makes the vowel long.  And lately she's been learning the sounds that the various vowel combinations make (like 'ea' and 'ai' and 'oo').  Almost every time she sees a word somewhere she wants to try sounding it out.  It's SO cool!  She's soaking it all up right now and improving every day.

A couple of weeks ago she got her very own library card, and she's always so excited to use it!

She's also been really into drawing and coloring lately. Here are some of her most interesting pieces:
This one is of her going down a slide.  Notice how she drew multiple people?  She says that's her moving.
 Made in preschool for me.
A rainbow with colorful rain coming down.
Rapunzel (from Tangled) in her tower with Pasqual (sp?) and Mother Gothel down below.
She and her husband and two future daughters - Allie and Sarah - in their future house.
 M on the toilet.
