Today when J called from work to say hi, he talked to M as usual. This time, however, M talked back! She held the phone up to her ear and said, "Hi!" It was so cute! She's been saying hi for quite some time now, but only stares at the phone when someone wants to "talk" to her.
I rode my bike (with M in the trailer) to the store today to pick up some more milk and vegetables. It was our first time doing it without J, and it went smoothly. :-) It feels so good to know that I'm not using any gas and getting good exercise! M likes it too. We are hoping to reduce our car use (as much as possible when you have a baby and live in the suburbs). J has been riding his bike to work, and he says it feels great to pass all the cars lined up at the stop sign. It only takes him 8 minutes to get to school/get home.
